Who can be hypnotized?
Almost everyone can be hypnotized—if they’re willing. While some people are naturally more suggestible than others, most fall somewhere in the middle. What matters most is your openness to the process.
How to make the most of your time with me
(Psychological Prep: What to Know)
– You are always in control. Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed state, not a loss of consciousness. You can speak, move, and even end the session at any time.
– You cannot be made to do anything against your will. Hypnosis works with your consent and cooperation—your subconscious will only accept suggestions that feel aligned and safe.
– You don’t need to “try” to be hypnotized. Just allow yourself to follow my voice. The more you relax into the process, the more effective it will be.
– Your mind may wander. That’s okay. You’ll still benefit. Hypnosis often feels like a light daydream, not a deep sleep.
– Every experience is unique. Some people feel immediate shifts, while others notice subtle changes over days or weeks.
– Trust whatever comes up. Emotions, images, or memories may arise. They’re your mind’s way of guiding you to resolution.
(Practical Considerations)
– Set aside 1-2 hours and keep your schedule light afterward.
— RTT sessions usually run 75–120 minutes. Coaching sessions last 60 minutes.
– Eat and hydrate beforehand.
– Choose a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.
– Silence your phone and turn off computer notifications.
– Close other apps and tabs for a smoother Zoom experience.
– Ensure your device is fully charged or plugged in, and that Zoom is installed.
– Check your internet connection. If Zoom drops during the session, log back in unless we’re mid-transformation—in that case, I’ll finish the recording and send it to you.
– Use the restroom before we begin (but stepping away is fine if needed).
– Keep tissues nearby.
– If we meet in the evening, ensure you’re well-lit so I can monitor your responses.
Scope of Practice
I understand that Meghan SeeKamp is not a physician or medical practitioner. Further, I understand that Hypnotherapy should not replace the advice or services of a medical doctor.
I also understand that while Marisa Peer has built a multi-million dollar business with RTT™ and has coached incredibly effective therapists like Meghan SeeKamp, RTT™ does not claim to cure any issue, medical or otherwise. It is not magic. The success of each session is in direct relation to the time and effort exerted, as well as the willingness to collaborate with Meghan SeeKamp before, during, and after the session’s completion.
Privacy Policy
